The Adventure Starts!

Got to the airport nice and early (thank you #1 son Michael!). Met up with coworker and friend Pat and after we cleared security (fyi take your cpap out of your carry on bag to go through security just like a laptop or they will pull you out of line and search your bag!) We went for a bite to eat once we made it to concourse D. Delicious steak salad, and glass of water. Lucky us…we were still plenty early but went to check out the gate anyhow. Lo and behold our flight crew was delayed and we would not make our connection in DC so we were sent to Customer Service…who looked and looked and said we would have to wait until tomorrow afternoon. We begged her to keep looking and even asked about  Chicago twice and she told us NO!  Oddly enough she found a flight to Chicago boarding in about 25 min and she hopefully rerouted our bags too (a bit worried about that). We will have a little over an hour to connect to the Belgium flight at Observe so here’s hoping!
