December 9th….Paris in the morning; Berkhamsted in the afternoon!
Just to start the post, but will have to add more later. Woke up from our tired tired end of day in Paris. Walked for miles and miles. I looked up tonight on the map and it was at least 5 miles, but I believe probably more, not to mention all the steps in the Louvre to see our Masterpieces! But taking into account that I’ve covered Leuven, Brugge, Gent and Brussels in Belgium by foot; as well as Amsterdam and the trains to those places prior to getting to Paris, even if 5+ miles doesn’t sound like much…it IS!!!! Not complaining, just justifying I suspect! Will finish this post off in the next day here in Ashridge. I am expecting renewal while here…while at the same time leisurely exploring the 190 acres here, the on-site spa and the little town nearby of Berkhamsted. But, all this travel and I’m weary and smiling. Will update more! G’nite for now! OX
