7-28-2022 A few more Seattle pics and thoughts!!!!

So I guess I forgot to upload some more pics I had taken for our Seattle portion of the trip. Especially the pic of the Gum Wall!!!

I’m glad I got to see Seattle; I don’t really care if I go back there again. It’s expensive, and sort of a traffic nightmare and mess. Mass construction down by the water front caused traffic EVERYWHERE!!! And did I mention it’s EXPENSIVE?!!!! And they seem to be struggling to really come back from the pandemic in several ways. My AoM conference was there; the entire city ran out of Diet Coke! I don’t know why but I thought that was weird. Something to do with too few Coke delivery driver! lol I don’t hardly even drink it but found it odd that the entire city was out!

On the plus side, near our hotel we stayed at for the conference, there was one of those neat new-ish Amazon grocery stores where you just sign in to your app and it knows what you’ve picked up off the shelf to buy and you pay for it with your Amazon account! Haven’t experienced that before.
